The clients were building a new house, on completion they commissioned a range of new furniture to suit. This included a bench seat for two people, dining chairs, a kitchen trolley and (not shown) parquetry floor entry and TV unit.

The clients are farmers so when they commissioned a bench seat for two people we designed a bench with their lifestyle in mind; an old fashioned tractor seat.

Having drawn the shape on blackwood timber we established the maximum depth and carved out the shape.
