custom made kitchens:

This Black and Tasmanian oak kitchen was successfully completed in 2018 for customers here in Tasmania. The layout and positioning of colours (black or oak) was discussed, sketched out and agreed with the clients before materials were ordered and construction began.

The grain on the pantry doors and drawers is designed to follow the timber grain direction of the floor and island bench-top. Black-fronted cupboards in the island bench face the dining area whilst behind, open black shelves face into the kitchen area. We inset steel into the island bench to act as a hot pan trivet and used the cut-out from the stove top to make them a cutting board.

The result, according to the client, is a smart and useful kitchen that 2 years later she is still delighted with.
